I love this place!
Training is amost over. I actually had one day of real work behind a VIC desk and loved it. So far I've seen wolves, black bears, geysers, elk, bison, coyotes, and all sorts of stuff. My programs are ready to go (at least a few of them), I am consumed by the spirit of YNP. My fishing rod is ready, my flies are all tied, and my back country camping gear is ready for an immediate departure. Monday and Tuesday's are my off days and you can rest assured that catching fish, camping and taking in everything I can is on my agenda. I may be an old guy but I am young at heart and am ready, willing, and able to perpetuate my intimate love affair with this awesome place.
